One person has died, and another is injured after a crash in Sumter County on Monday.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), a 2019 Hyundai SUV was going north on Cane Savannah Road at St Paul’s Church Road around 2:32 p.m. when a 2017 Ford SUV travelling south crossed the centre line and collided with the Hyundai head-on.
The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene, and the driver of the Ford was injured.
SCHP is investigating the crash.
