Madison police said officers went to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Wittwer Road and North Walbridge Avenue, where they discovered a person inside their car who told them it had been hit by bullets, but they were unharmed.
Investigators discovered shell casings in the vicinity and arrested Travon Dunlap on charges of second-degree reckless endangering safety. Jamarr Stewart was also arrested for being a party to a second-degree reckless endangerment crime, as well as having an outstanding warrant.
