A 51-year-old Marion County man is receiving a massive reward after matching the winning numbers in a recent lottery drawing.
The Florida Lottery stated that Christopher Trail of Ocklawaha has come forward to claim a $10 million prize from the Powerball drawing on March 11, 2026. Trail went to the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee on March 18 to officially collect his winnings.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the Circle K gas station on 10030 County Road 44 in Leesburg.
This new victory adds to Florida’s strong performance in the multi-state game. Since Florida joined Powerball in 2009, the game has raised more than $3.37 billion for the state’s education system. Florida is one of the top-selling Powerball states in the US, with more than 158 million winning tickets for more than $4.07 billion. This includes 17 jackpot wins since the state joined the game.
The next opportunity for players is this weekend. The next Powerball drawing is planned for Saturday, June 27, at 10:59 p.m. ET, with an estimated prize of $348 million.
Tickets for the upcoming drawing must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET to be eligible. The drawings are aired live in high definition from the Florida Lottery’s Tallahassee facility.
They can also be seen on the Lottery’s official website and YouTube channel. Players can verify the winning numbers online, via the free mobile app, at statewide merchants, or by calling (850) 921-PLAY.
