A suspect is in police custody after being discovered hiding in a trash can following a report of gunfire near a school in Boston on Monday afternoon.
Boston police responded to reports of shots fired soon after 2:30 p.m. at 55 Malcolm X Boulevard, the address of the John D. O’Bryant School of Math & Science, and 165 Roxbury St.
Police began combing the area and saw a suspect on Boston Housing Authority video cameras hiding inside a nearby dumpster. Officers discovered him and claimed to have detained him.
There have been no reports of victims as of yet, according to authorities.
