Dirt bike crash in Kentucky leaves one critically injured

KENTUCKY — A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a dirt bike crash Tuesday night in Lexington, according to police.

Officers with the Lexington Police Department responded just before 8:30 p.m. on April 21 to the 7000 block of Russell Cave Road following reports of a crash involving a dirt bike.

Authorities said the rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Police later confirmed the injuries are life-threatening.

Officials have not released additional details about what led to the crash.
