Columbia, Ky. (Green River Media) — Police arrested a Louisville man Thursday night following a domestic violence complaint on Holloway Drive.
Officers with the Columbia Police Department responded around 11:37 p.m. CT, located the alleged male suspect at the scene, and took him into custody without incident.

Adair County EMS transported the female victim to the T.J. Health Columbia Emergency Room, where she was treated and later released.
Authorities identified the suspect as 19-year-old Brandon L. Gist of Louisville, Kentucky. He faces charges of second-degree assault (domestic violence) and first-degree strangulation (domestic violence-related).
Columbia Police Officer Nathan Ginn made the arrest, with assistance from Officer Tyler McKinney and Adair County Sheriff’s Deputy Hunter Tweedy.
