LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The former owner of two well-known Louisville restaurants that abruptly closed last year has filed for bankruptcy.
According to Louisville Business First, Foxdulaney LLC — a business entity linked to restaurateur Isaac Fox — filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy this week.
The filing lists liabilities between $100,000 and $500,000, with little expectation that creditors will recover their losses.
The bankruptcy follows the sudden closures of La Chasse on Bardstown Road and The Champagnery in Clifton, both of which shut down in 2025.
La Chasse had operated for nearly a decade before closing without notice, while The Champagnery closed less than a year after Fox assumed ownership.
At the time, Fox pointed to serious financial and operational challenges.
Months later, court records show those issues have led to liquidation.
Louisville Business First also reported that the former La Chasse location has already been taken over by a new restaurant concept.
