Louisville man dies after blunt force trauma in Pleasure Ridge Park incident

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has died after suffering injuries following an incident in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Police said the situation unfolded on March 23 in the 7600 block of Gerald Avenue after a caller reported an unknown man jumping fences and entering a backyard.

When officers arrived, they found a man with injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. Police did not say how those injuries occurred.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died on Saturday.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating and said all parties involved have been accounted for.

The case is now under review by the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether charges will be filed.
