Everything in the development, from lighting to murals, is designed with purpose to create a welcoming space.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new housing development in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood will combine residential living with mental health services.
The first floor of Phoenix Place Hub will offer therapy services that are open to the public.
The second and third floors will feature eight apartment units, expected to house 16 residents.
Developers say every detail of the space — from the light fixtures to the murals — was carefully chosen to make visitors feel comfortable and supported.
“Mental health affects and touches everybody,” said DeOndrea Robinson, owner of Jump Start Realty. “It does not have a respective person, a respective race, a respective sex or any of those things. We are all-inclusive. If you need help, come to the Hub.”
Jump Start Realty led the development of Phoenix Place Hub, which is located at 2001 West Chestnut St.
