LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead near the Big Four Bridge on March 20.
Spokesperson Adam Sears said First Division officers responded to a reported shooting around 3:02 a.m. in the children’s water park area of Waterfront Park. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds near the Big Four Bridge and provided aid until emergency medical services arrived.
The victim was taken to UofL Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
