LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Officials gave the “all clear” at Norton Audubon Hospital on Poplar Level Road Thursday evening following a reported bomb threat.

A spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police said officers and federal agents responded to the hospital around 3:15 p.m.

Norton Healthcare announced at 4:25 p.m. that all access points to the hospital had been restricted, and ambulances were diverted to other hospitals.

In an update around 6:27 p.m., Norton said the “all clear” had been issued. Officials added that “nothing was found and everyone is safe.”

LMPD said its Homeland Security unit is now working with Norton’s security teams to investigate the threat.
