LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a liquor store on Dixie Highway, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to a crash call around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the 14000 block of Dixie Highway.
Initial investigations found that a car was traveling north on Dixie Highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and crashed into the Liquor Valley building at the corner of Dixie Highway and Lewis Lane.
Police said at least two people were transported to UofL Hospital, where they are expected to survive their injuries.
LMPD said the case remains under investigation, and no charges are expected at this time.
