KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the death of a man found inside a home Tuesday afternoon near Iroquois Park.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers responded around 12:45 p.m. to the 5400 block of Carol Way after receiving a report of a deceased person inside a residence. The home is located off Manslick Road and Third Street Road, near the Auburndale and Iroquois Park neighborhoods.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home. Ellis said the department’s Homicide Unit was called in to lead the investigation.
An autopsy completed Wednesday determined that the victim suffered trauma, Ellis said. The man’s identity has not been released, and investigators have not shared additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have captured relevant information on a cellphone or home surveillance camera to contact authorities.
