LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Fire Department responded to a call around 7:33 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 3300 block of Taylor Boulevard.

When crews arrived, they found smoke surrounding a one-and-a-half-story single-family home. Firefighters located a small attic fire and quickly put it out, preventing it from spreading further.

Residents had safely evacuated the home before firefighters arrived. The American Red Cross provided assistance to one occupant who was displaced by the fire.

The Louisville Fire Department Arson Unit is investigating the cause of the fire.
