Southwest Missouri Couple Missing for More Than a Week, Authorities Search

PINEVILLE, Mo. — Authorities are searching for a southwest Missouri couple and their dog who have been missing for more than a week.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Leo and Katherine Lindeman were last seen Sept. 15, according to the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities officially listed them as missing on Sept. 16.

The couple lives in rural Pineville, off Missouri Highway 76 east of Anderson.

Leo Lindeman, 73, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. Katherine Lindeman, 74, is about 5 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. Their small dog, Bitty, is missing as well.

Investigators said the couple left their vehicles and personal belongings behind at their home.
