Someone won more than $200,000 on a $20 slot machine bet at a Massachusetts casino last month.
On June 21, an Encore Boston Harbor casino player won a jackpot of $206,285.86 after betting $20 on the “Ultimate Fast Cash” slot machine game.
The Encore Boston Harbor casino includes over 2,700 slot machines and over 175 table games.
Players must be 21 or older.
Last August, Encore Boston Harbor broke a new jackpot payment record, awarding more than $46.3 million to lucky winners across its gaming floors. Another record was broken on New Year’s Day, when a Quincy man won a life-changing jackpot at Encore Boston Harbor.
The individual, who was not identified by the casino, was playing “Royal 9 Baccarat” in the early hours of New Year’s Day when he won the progressive jackpot of $1,620,335.70.
The jackpot had been approaching $1.6 million earlier in December. But it continued to increase without a winner.
“The record-setting win adds to the excitement of the holiday celebration and underscores the thrill of high-stakes gaming at the resort,” the casino claimed in a news release.
