Trip to Massachusetts convenience store results in $1M State Lottery win on instant game

A trip to a Massachusetts convenience store turned extremely profitable following a large state lottery scratch ticket win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, the 38 Green Pine Trust of Taunton won $1 million in the “$4,000,000 Bonus Loot” $10 quick ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Jake Rogers, chose to receive its award in the form of a single payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Lucky Spot Convenience Store, 342 North Main St., Randolph. The retailer will receive a $10,000 incentive for selling this ticket.

The “$4,000,000 Bonus Loot” game features one additional prize of $1 million that has yet to be claimed.
