Lottery prizes worth $1 million, two worth $500,000 and two $100,000 were all claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday.
The $1 million reward came from “$4,000,000 In The Money,” a scratch ticket game that debuted in January. Each ticket costs ten dollars to play. As of June 17, the game still has three $4 million top prizes available, as well as six $1 million prizes.
On Tuesday, the state also saw the winning or claim of two $500,000 and two $100,000 awards.
Both $500,000 prizes were won by purchasing “$500,000 Frenzy” scratch tickets, one from New Store On The Block in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood and the other from Sully’s Variety in Chelsea.
The $100,000 rewards came from winning “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” tickets, which were sold at the Qwik Mart in Haverhill and The Windsor Shoppe in Lowell, respectively.
Overall, at least 459 prizes totaling $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, with six in Springfield, 17 in Worcester, and 41 in Boston.
Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery distributes a complete list of winning tickets. The list only includes rewards totaling more than $600.
The greatest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts this year was $25 million. It was a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” ticket purchased at a Cumberland Farms petrol station in Turners Falls, Montague’s largest of five communities.
