Chicago police have charged a man with the murder of a 21-year-old in October 2018.
Jesus Vargas, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder and warrant issuance, both felonies. He was arrested on Friday.
Vargas has been identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old male on Oct. 20, 2018, in the 2700 block of W. 58th Street.
His next court appearance will be scheduled for Sunday.
