Police apprehended a man this morning in connection with an assault on a medical facility.
The Windham County State’s Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Cody J. Amico, 32, of Waterbury, and he was taken into custody without incident about 7 a.m.
The arrest stems from an event that happened on May 6, 2026, in a medical facility in Putnam.
Amico was charged with assault on a healthcare worker, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief.
He was held on a $25,000 court-set bond and taken to Danielson Superior Court for arraignment.
