Jeweler Shuki Diamonds is trying to recover two diamond rings he loaned to Antonio Brown in 2022. Although a court ordered Brown to pay $1,095,000 for failing to return them, Shuki says he doesn’t want the money — he wants the rings back.
Speaking this week, Shuki emphasized that the financial payout isn’t important to him. After 20 years working as a diamond artist for high-profile clients, he said the pieces hold far more value as creations. He described them as his “world-famous, historical, and flawless diamond fingers,” calling one a “million-dollar ice finger.”
According to TMZ, the dispute began in 2022 when Shuki lent the rings to Brown as a friendly gesture. “I gave Antonio [the rings] like a brother to wear it. Bring it back. Take the money. I don’t need the money!” he said. When the rings were not returned, Shuki filed a lawsuit in 2024, and a judge ruled in his favor.
The situation became more complicated after Brown filed for bankruptcy in 2024. His assets, including a Florida mansion, are now being liquidated to repay creditors. While Shuki is expected to receive a portion of that money, it’s not the outcome he’s seeking.
Despite the dispute, Shuki expressed no ill will toward Brown. “I love Antonio Brown. I’ve always said he’s a beautiful person. The only thing I want is the world-famous, historical, diamond original finger. The million-dollar ice finger,” he said, adding, “I just want my finger back.”
For Shuki, the rings represent craftsmanship and artistic value rather than just money. However, unless they are returned, he may ultimately have to accept a financial settlement through the bankruptcy process.
