LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An employee at an east Louisville middle school was injured while intervening in a student fight on Monday.
According to a statement from Jefferson County Public Schools, the incident involved a group of students at Crosby Middle School.
Officials said the employee was “hit” while attempting to break up the altercation.

JCPS said the students involved will face disciplinary action in line with the district’s Student Support and Behavior Intervention Handbook.
