HEBRON, Ky. — Donald Trump briefly paused his remarks during an event at a packaging facility in northern Kentucky on Wednesday after a person in the crowd required medical attention.

According to witnesses, the attendee appeared to faint and needed help from first responders at the event.

Among those who assisted was Mehmet Oz, who helped the woman out of the audience.

“We got a doctor in the house, please?” Trump said.

Trump paused his speech for several minutes while first responders helped the woman and escorted her from the crowd.

“First responders are incredible,” Trump said after the situation was addressed.

Trump made multiple stops in the region during his visit.

Earlier in the day, he toured a facility operated by Thermo Fisher Scientific in Reading, Ohio, where he highlighted efforts aimed at lowering prescription drug prices.

Trump praised the company, calling it “a great company,” and toured the site with employees, posing for photos with several of them.

Thermo Fisher Scientific recently announced plans to invest an additional $2 billion over the next four years to expand its U.S. manufacturing operations and strengthen innovation efforts.

The Trump administration has also introduced a new platform called Trump-RX designed to provide prescription drug benefits and discounted medications. However, critics have raised concerns about the limited selection available through the program.

“In 28 years medicine’s only gone up, and we brought it down by, in many cases, 80 percent or more, so it’s an honor and you’re a big recipient because it’s good for your business,” Trump said.
