While no one claimed the Powerball jackpot, one lucky ticket holder in Kentucky still walked away with a significant prize after Saturday night’s drawing.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Someone in Kentucky scored big following Saturday’s Powerball drawing.
The Kentucky Lottery said a ticket matched all four white balls, earning the standard $50,000 prize. Because the winner also purchased the Power Play option with a multiplier of four, the prize increased to $200,000.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 5, 8, 27, 49, and 57, with a Powerball of 14.
Officials said the winning ticket was sold at Estepp’s Friendly Shell, located at 4107 Lexington Road in Paris, Kentucky.
Kentucky Lottery officials advised the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place until it can be claimed at lottery headquarters at 1011 West Main St. in downtown Louisville.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prize, so officials urged players to check their tickets.
No one matched all numbers to win the estimated $209 million Powerball jackpot.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026.
