KENTUCKY — A Kentucky lottery player won $200,000 in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, lottery officials confirmed.
The drawing took place on Jan. 17, 2026. The winning numbers were 5, 8, 27, 49, 57, with a Powerball of 14. The Power Play multiplier was 4x, boosting the Kentucky prize to $200,000.
Officials have not yet revealed where in Kentucky the ticket was sold. Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Kentucky Lottery to start the claims process.
No ticket matched all six numbers, so the jackpot rolled over. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing is $193 million, with a cash value of $87.9 million.
Powerball is offered in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Kentucky Lottery officials remind winners to claim prizes within the state’s designated timeframe.
