Louisville police are investigating a robbery that happened Saturday morning at a PNC Bank in the Bon Air neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police said Sixth Division officers responded to the bank in the 3600 block of Bardstown Road around 10 a.m.

According to police, the suspect went into the bank and demanded cash. It’s unclear how much money was taken. The suspect ran from the scene, and officers have not yet found them.

By Sunday morning, a sign on the door read “closed temp.”

The Robbery Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information can call the department’s anonymous Crime Tip Hotline at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or submit a tip through the LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
