LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville judge has dismissed several charges in a deadly hit-and-run case.

Angelo Collier was arrested in April 2023 after police said he struck and killed 34-year-old Vinnie Jacoway in January while Jacoway was crossing the road. At the time, Collier faced one count of manslaughter, two counts of fleeing and evading, and two counts of assault.

Court documents show that on Nov. 26, 2025, a judge dismissed the charges of manslaughter, receiving stolen property, leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence, and driving on a suspended license without prejudice.

Collier currently faces two counts of wanton endangerment, one count of criminal mischief, and two counts of fleeing and evading police.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 22.
