The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet released its District 2 road project schedule for the week of November 30 through December 6.
Officials say several projects could impact traffic throughout the week. Each project includes specific mile points, which you can locate using KYTC’s map.
Daviess County
Monday
• Crews will mow on KY 142, KY 144 and KY 762
• Rail mowing will take place on KY 2698 with flaggers
Tuesday
• Paving will continue on KY 2698 with flaggers
• Mowing will occur on KY 144
• Rail mowing will happen on U.S. 431 with flaggers
Wednesday
• Paving will take place on KY 144 near the county line with flaggers
• Mowing will continue on KY 2830
• Rail mowing will resume on U.S. 431 with flaggers
Thursday
• Crews will grind trees on U.S. 60 near Frederica Street
• Paving will continue on KY 144 with flaggers
• Mowing will resume on KY 2830
• Rail mowing will continue on U.S. 431
Friday
• Paving will continue on KY 144 with flaggers
• Mowing will take place on U.S. 60, KY 405, KY 661 and KY 662
Hancock County
Monday
• Crews will patch potholes on various routes with flaggers
• Rail mowing will occur on KY 334 in Daviess and Hancock with flaggers
Tuesday
• Pothole patching will continue on various routes with flaggers
• Rail mowing will take place on KY 334 and KY 661 with flaggers
• Crews will install signs on the Audubon Parkway in Daviess County
Wednesday
• Sign installation will continue on the Audubon Parkway in Daviess County
• Rail mowing will take place on KY 661 in Daviess and Hancock with flaggers
Thursday
• Crews will install signs on KY 1700 and KY 2124
• Rail mowing will continue on KY 662 with flaggers
Friday
• Rail mowing will occur on KY 657 with flaggers
Hopkins County
• Mowing will continue on various roads all week
• Crews will clear brush on I-69 between mile markers 121 and 123 all week
• Ditching will take place on various roads all week
Muhlenberg County
• Brush clearing will continue on various roads all week
• Crews will replace a cross drain on KY 1379 between mile markers 7 and 8, closing the road all week
• Tree and brush cutting will continue on the Western Kentucky Parkway between mile markers 57 and 58 all week
• Mowing will take place on various roads all week
Ohio County
Monday
• Crews will ditch on KY 136 between mile markers 4 and 5 with flaggers
• Mowing will continue on KY 1737 between mile markers 0 and 4
• Rail mowing will occur on KY 69 between mile markers 3 and 7 with flaggers
• Pothole patching will take place on U.S. 231 with flaggers
Tuesday
• Ditching will continue on KY 136 between mile markers 4 and 5 with flaggers
• Mowing will occur on KY 144 between mile markers 0 and 4
• Rail mowing will take place on KY 69 between mile markers 3 and 7 with flaggers
• Pothole patching will continue on I-165 south with flaggers
Wednesday
• Crews will ditch on KY 629 between mile markers 0 and 1 with flaggers
• Mowing will take place on KY 1313 between mile markers 3 and 7
• Rail mowing will occur on KY 69 between mile markers 7 and 11 with flaggers
• Litter cleanup will take place on I-165 and the Western Kentucky Parkway
Thursday
• Ditching will continue on KY 629 between mile markers 0 and 1 with flaggers
• Mowing will occur on KY 1414 between mile markers 7 and 11
• Rail mowing will take place on KY 1245 between mile markers 0 and 3 with flaggers
• Crews will clean litter on U.S. 62
Friday
• Ditching will take place on KY 764 between mile markers 2 and 3 with flaggers
• Mowing will continue on KY 1414 between mile markers 11 and 15
• Rail mowing will occur on KY 1245 between mile markers 3 and 6
• Litter cleanup will take place on U.S. 231.
