LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A Louisville man has been arrested after a year-long string of armed robberies targeting three different Qdoba locations — each time using a different type of gun.

According to police, Shamaine Richardson is charged with robbery in connection with three incidents between August 2024 and October 2025.

Investigators said the first robbery occurred on Aug. 21, 2024, when Richardson entered the Qdoba on Shelbyville Road through the back door and pointed a handgun at an employee, demanding money from the safe before fleeing in a blue Oldsmobile Cutlass.

Nearly a year later, on Aug. 26, 2025, Richardson allegedly struck again — this time at the Qdoba on Bardstown Road, armed with a rifle. He once again escaped in a blue Oldsmobile Cutlass after taking cash.

The third robbery happened on Oct. 14, 2025, at the Qdoba on Poplar Level Road, where police said Richardson used a semi-automatic handgun to demand money before fleeing in a white Nissan Armada.

Richardson was arrested around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 27 and later appeared in court on Oct. 29.
