LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday evening near Valley Station.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 7 p.m. to Dixie Highway at West Blevins Gap Road after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found a person in the roadway who had been hit by a northbound pickup truck on Dixie Highway.
The victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Due to the severity of the crash, LMPD’s Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
Police confirmed that all parties involved remained at the scene.
