LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man accused of inappropriately touching a young girl last week.
The incident occurred on Sept. 18 around 3 p.m. near McCready Avenue and Richard Avenue, while the girl was waiting to be picked up from a nearby private school. Police say the man approached the child, touched her inappropriately, and then ran away.
The girl was able to capture video of the suspect fleeing. “We understand the video may not offer much, but we’re asking the community to help identify this individual,” LMPD said.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call LMPD at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or submit an anonymous report online.
