2 Children Missing From Ohio Located Safe by U.S. Marshals in Indiana

Two children reported missing from Ohio were located this week in Indiana.

According to the US Marshals Service, the two children, aged four and one, were found in Indianapolis on Monday. The children were rescued by members of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, which is led by the United States Marshals Service.

The kids were reported missing to the Elyria Police Department during a court appearance in Lorain County on September 16th. According to authorities, the four-year-old child is autistic and requires specific medical treatment.

“The United States Marshals Service will do everything in its power to safely locate missing children,” stated Marshal Pete Elliott. “We are thankful for the safe recovery of these two children and the incredible partnership with Elyria Police Department to ensure no information is lost or overlooked when it comes to cases like this.”

Asiah Brown, 26, the mother of the two children, was arrested and charged with interference with custody. Brown was indicted in Lorain County and pursued to Indiana, where the children were discovered and she was arrested.

The children will return to Ohio.
