Fourth suspect taken into custody in fatal Clay County QuikTrip shooting

Kansas City police detained an at-large suspect Wednesday in connection with a fatal Sept. 7 shooting at a local QuikTrip.

Michael Moore was taken into custody on Wednesday evening. Three other suspects were detained on the day of the shooting: Katlin Sharp, 23, Robert Martin IV, 21, and Brendon Lemoine, 26.

Court records reveal that cops discovered a gunshot victim at the convenience shop around 9:40 p.m. Surveillance footage showed the victim disputing with the suspects before one lifted an arm toward him and the group escaped in a red Jeep.

Sharp and Martin were first apprehended, and they informed authorities that Moore and Lemoine had considered destroying ammunition. They noted that Lemoine donned a pink ski mask in the video. Lemoine was captured shortly afterward.

Sharp, Lemoine, and Martin are due in court on Tuesday. Moore’s court information is not available.
