A 17-year-old girl was hurt in a shooting in Indianapolis near the southeast side early Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, police rushed to the 1800 block of Orange Street at 1:32 a.m. after receiving a complaint of a person being shot.
The house is near South State Avenue and East Pleasant Run Parkway North Drive.
When officers arrived, they found no one who had been shot.
A short time later, a 17-year-old girl presented to Community Hospital East with a gunshot wound and was reported to be in stable condition.
Police suspect she was shot on Orange Street. There was no additional information provided about the incident.
