A Toledo man is accused of fatally shooting and stabbing a 77-year-old man, according to police.
Quinel McGhee, 29, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly stabbing and shooting Dennis McGhee, 77, according to court documents.
Toledo Police said officers were dispatched to a home in the 3200 block of Glenwood, near Central and Detroit, at 12:45 p.m. on September 6 for a check safety call.
According to police affidavits, Dennis McGhee had been shot at least once and stabbed several times. He died of his injuries.
Quinel McGhee was detained shortly afterward, according to authorities. He is accused with murder and felonious assault.
Investigators haven’t revealed a possible motive yet.
