A homeless woman who has previously been banned from entering President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was detained for trespassing on the ritzy Florida property, according to authorities.
Li Hua Stevens, 65, a Chinese native, defied the big “RESTRICTED AREA: NO TRESPASSING” sign and went over the sprawling Palm Beach property Saturday until Secret Service agents found her carrying a heavy utility cart loaded with her personal possessions, CBS 12 said.
President Trump was not in Mar-a-Lago at the time; instead, he spent the weekend golfing and attending the Freedom 250 Grand Prix in Washington DC.
Palm Beach Police had previously warned Stevens for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago during a similar incident on May 2. According to an arrest report acquired by the Palm Beach Post, she was then instructed not to return to “all Mar-a-Lago properties.”
She was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and is being held on $2,000 bond, according to jail records.
Stevens, a native of China who is now homeless, was arrested in Palm Beach on June 30 after being captured on surveillance video defecating in a public garden, leaving behind soiled toilet paper and other waste, according to court papers acquired by CBS12.
She admitted to the nasty crime once police showed her the tape.
Town officials predicted that the cleanup would cost around $500.
