19-year-old detained after allegedly stabbing pregnant woman who is dating her ex-boyfriend: Records

A 19-year-old woman is in custody after reportedly stabbing a pregnant woman she invited to her home, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 3 Office.

Carrieale Williams was detained Thursday morning after deputies arrived at the 12000 block of Dona Lane in northeast Houston.

According to Precinct 3 police, Williams and the victim met through religion. Court documents released later that evening say that the victim is dating Williams’ ex-boyfriend.

Williams appeared in court overnight, when a judge spoke about the matter and revealed that she is also believed to be pregnant.

Deputies claim Williams invited the pregnant woman over. Once inside the house, detectives said the victim spotted Williams attempting to conceal a weapon.

When Williams pulled the knife, local enforcement reported a scuffle that left the pregnant woman with stab wounds to her arms and face.

Neighbors reported seeing law enforcement in their area upon waking up. I was like, “What is going on?” Damiun Becnel, a neighbor, described seeing six people standing there with no lights on, which made him feel uneasy. That’s extremely violent. I had no idea any of this was happening. My neighbors are normally chill, so hearing that story from them is sort of crazy,” Becnel added.

The woman is anticipated to be ok, according to the pct. 3. Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a pregnant person.

Detectives have not revealed to ABC13 why Williams stabbed the woman or how far along the victim is in her pregnancy.

Last year, Williams was charged with abusing a pregnant woman. According to court records, Williams’ sister was six months pregnant when he reportedly pulled her down and hit her in the stomach over a phone charger. Williams’ case was dismissed after he completed a 10-hour anger management course.
