Police apprehended a man after responding to two separate incidents on Pleasant Street on Friday.
At 11:48 a.m., Webster Police officers responded to 43 Pleasant Street for a fight in progress.
When cops arrived, they saw many people arguing on the sidewalk.
Christopher Palmerino spotted the officers and dashed into his flat, closing the door.
Officers discovered that Palmerino had been arguing with many others outside.
According to authorities, as a bystander tried to settle the situation, Palmerino struck the victim in the face.
Palmerino then went into his flat and grabbed a cooking pan.
He returned outside and attempted to strike the victim with the cooking pan, police said.
Officers quelled the scene, and the victim originally declined to seek charges.
Officers returned to the 43 Pleasant Street location about two hours later after receiving a report of another incident in progress.
When Officer Patrick Trainor arrived, he noticed Palmerino attempting to attack multiple people.
According to authorities, Palmerino kicked one of the victims in the groin while wearing a shoe, directly in front of Officer Trainor.
Palmerino was promptly arrested.
Christopher Palmerino, 41, of Webster, has been charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon, disorderly behavior, and disturbing the peace.
