A teenage boy was found shot to death on Chicago’s West Side on Friday morning, according to authorities.
Around 9:15 a.m., police discovered an unresponsive 17-year-old in the Austin neighborhood’s 4900-block of West Washington Boulevard.
The victim, shot in the back of the head, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.
Area Four detectives are conducting an investigation. Police did not immediately provide any information.
