Two men were apprehended in Toledo after police say a fight between a contractor and the boss of a company working on a residential property turned physical, resulting in gunfire.
Vincent Martinez and Dana Frison Jr. were charged with felonious assault in the 100 block of Melrose on the afternoon of July 20.
According to affidavits, the two got into a verbal confrontation over work being done on a property, which escalated into physical violence.
Martinez allegedly struck Frison multiple times in the head and face with his fist and a metal and plastic wire fishing tool, according to police affidavits. Frison broke his nose and received other wounds and bruises.
Frison allegedly went outside to his truck, grabbed a gun, and began shooting into the front of the house as Martinez ran back inside.
Nobody was hit by the shooting.
Police officers at the scene told 13 Action News that the fight was between a contractor and a company boss, but they did not specify each person’s role.
