Pearl River County deputies announced a man and a woman were taken into custody after a 14-year-old was discovered to be pregnant.
Investigators claimed they received a referral from the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services (MDCPS) about the pregnant teenager around June 30, 2026.
Following an investigation, Dawson James Brown was arrested on one count of statutory rape, two charges of sexual battery, and one count of people trafficking. They also arrested Sabrina Brown on active felony warrants for conspiracy to tamper with evidence, attempted tampering with physical evidence, and child neglect.
