A 46-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a dispute with a group of thugs in The Bronx on Sunday.
According to police, the unidentified victim was near East 183rd Street and the Grand Concourse around 6:50 a.m. when he got into an argument with numerous others.
According to authorities, the quarrel escalated into violence, with the victim being repeatedly stabbed before his attackers fled in vehicles.
The man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in The Bronx, where he was declared dead.
Police said he would not be identified publicly until his family was notified.
Cops did not specify what provoked the encounter or how many people attacked the man.
According to police crime statistics, the stabbing marks the eighth homicide in the 46th Precinct this year, up from three the previous year.
Through July 5, the borough had witnessed 46 murders, compared to 52 over the same period in 2025, excluding Sunday’s fatal stabbing.
