Docs: Tualatin woman nabbed after biting her child multiple times

Tualatin police made a disturbing find while responding to a domestic disturbance earlier this week.

Police arrived Tuesday night to an apartment in the 19655 block of SW 65th Ave after a man reported being locked out after a fight with his girlfriend.

He also informed officers that she had damaged furniture inside the flat and that her three-year-old son had serious bruises.

According to court documents, the boy informed investigators that his mother had bitten him on the ear. The police also discovered what seemed to be a bite mark on his leg.

Officers also noticed broken glass on the floor and stated that the boy was barefoot, placing him at danger of injury.

Police arrested the child’s mother, Jesse Anne Wilcoxon, 27, on accusations of criminal abuse and four counts of assault.

Wilcoxon pled not guilty during her arraignment Wednesday. A court ordered her jailed on $25,000 bail. As of Thursday morning, she hadn’t posted bond.

Wilcoxon, who has no past criminal history in Oregon, is due back in court on July 15.
