A 29-year-old man from Northern Kentucky was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after reportedly stabbing another person at a famous restaurant in Covington, according to police.
James Bonar was arrested and charged with attempted murder after officers were dispatched to Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken in the 600 block of Scott Street shortly before 1:30 p.m. for a suspected stabbing, according to the Covington Officers Department.
When officers arrived, they discovered a person with non-life-threatening injuries and sent him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
Police were directed to the Kenton County Public Library, where they discovered Bonar and apprehended him without incident.
Bonar was brought to Kenton County Detention Center, where he is awaiting trial.
