A man and a woman were shot with a blow dart gun on the city’s west side on Monday afternoon.
Cleveland police said one attack happened around 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Clark Ave.
Officers arrived on the scene to find the first victim, a 56-year-old woman who had been struck by numerous long-needle darts.
The woman told officers that a known man assaulted her in the face with his hands close before shooting her and leaving.
The woman was sent to a local hospital for treatment. Her identity and condition have not been revealed.
While investigating, detectives discovered that the second victim, a 40-year-old man, was being treated at a hospital after being struck with a blow dart.
He reported to officers that he was attacked by an unknown male near W. 25th Street.
After being struck, the victim fled and phoned 911.
At this moment, there have been no arrests.
