A police chase that began in Garfield Heights concluded in Cleveland Wednesday morning when the fleeing car collided with the side of a building.
A Fox 8 photographer filmed the scene and police activity at E. 131st and Marston Avenue around 1:40 a.m. on June 17, when the chase appeared to be over.
After the truck collided with Tomorrow’s Leaders Childcare & Enrichment Center, several people fled the scene. They were apprehended after a short foot chase.
According to reports, Cleveland EMS transported one individual to the hospital.
A Garfield Heights police car was also damaged during the pursuit.
The situation is being investigated.
