2 suspects taken into custody after appearing on Clay County’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list

Two suspects on Clay County’s ‘Top Ten Most Wanted List’ have been taken into custody a week after the list’s launch.

Michelle Essig was arrested on May 29th by members of the KCPD East Zone Proactive Squad, according to the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office. She has been accused of robbery in the first degree and resisting arrest.

Mill Creek Township, Pennsylvania, Police Department officers arrested David Anthony Santia Sr. on May 31st, according to officials. He is charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree tampering.

The ‘Top Ten Most Wanted’ initiative launched last week and is aimed at arresting 10 people who have warrants in Clay County. Kristen H. Wood has been arrested in Kearney, Missouri, bringing the list down to seven.

Officials said the suspects are wanted for a variety of alleged crimes, including violent and repeat felony charges, gun-related crimes, and narcotics supply.
