Bucks County man accused of uploading AI-altered child porn

Bucks County, Pennsylvania – A Bucks County man faces charges of uploading child sexual abuse material and manipulating the images using artificial intelligence.

Matthew Williams, 47, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, faces charges including child sexual abuse material, criminal use of a communication facility, and other related offenses.

Resources for victims of sexual assault are available through the National Sexual Violence Resources Center and the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 800-656-4673.

The case began in April 2026 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children flagged an Amazon Photos user for uploading a child sexual abuse image. Court records indicate the image had been altered using AI.

Investigators traced the IP address and email account back to Matthew Williams. Authorities then executed a search warrant at Williams’ Levittown home, where they discovered multiple AI-altered child sexual abuse images, according to the criminal complaint.

Police have not disclosed when or where they believe the photographs were taken, though they confirmed the images were uploaded to the Amazon Photos account in April.

Williams was arrested on Friday, May 22, and remains held on $12 million bail. While he remains in custody, police warn that multiple victims may still be out there who have yet to come forward. Investigators believe the victims could be located in or around the Bristol Township area and are urging anyone who may have been affected to reach out to Bristol Township Police.

Online court records don’t list an attorney who could speak on Williams’ behalf.
