Winning $100,000 Mass Cash ticket sold at neighborhood convenience store

A winning $100,000 lottery ticket was sold at a small convenience store in Massachusetts.

The $100,000 winner came from one of the “Mass Cash” drawings on Friday. The winning numbers in the midday drawing were 14, 15, 23, 30, and 32. The winning numbers from the evening drawing were 7, 9, 17, 29, and 33.

Pam’s Markets, located off Route 1 in Norwood, sold a ticket that matched all five numbers in one of the drawings.

The “Mass Cash” drawings are held twice daily, and each ticket costs $1 to play. Players must choose five numbers from 1-35, and if all five match those drawn, they will win $100,000.

Overall, at least 658 prizes totaling $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Friday, with 11 in Springfield, 24 in Worcester, and 80 in Boston.

Every day, the Massachusetts State Lottery distributes a complete list of winning tickets. The list only includes rewards totaling more than $600.

The greatest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts this year was $25 million. It was a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” ticket purchased at a Cumberland Farms petrol station in Turners Falls, Montague’s largest of five communities.
