Victim shot and killed on Cincinnati public bus identified; suspect apprehended

A victim was allegedly shot and killed on a public bus in Cincinnati.

The incident took at around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday on Erkenbrecher Avenue near the intersection with Dury Avenue, close to the Cincinnati Zoo and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Cincinnati police identified the victim as 52-year-old James Bond.

Leonte Coston, 27, was arrested for the shooting and faces charges of murder, carrying hidden firearms, and receiving stolen property.

According to Metro, the shooting occurred as a result of a disagreement between two passengers. Neither the other passengers nor the bus driver were wounded.
